#107 Jewelry Class, PMC (Precious Metal Clay) Pendant – This class is a prerequisite for any other PMC class I teach. Precious Metal Clay is made of tiny silver particles in an organic binder. You can shape it, carve it, set stones in it and add components to it. When it is fired, all the binder burns away and only solid fine silver remains! This medium appeals to the free-spirited crafts person. The class fee is $55 plus supplies. One 9 gram lump of PMC3 is required and a single 9 gram syringe can be shared among class members. One lump will make a pendant and perhaps a small pair of earrings. The price of PMC3 fluctuates with the price of silver. Tools for use in class are provided. Instruction sheets are illustrated.
